When installing your Ecosure water butt, you may not be able to use a downpipe diverter due to your current drainage configuration. If your downpipe does not currently run into a drain, remove the lid on your water butt and insert the appropriately sized filter basket. Then you can run your downpipe straight into the tank. These filter baskets offer coarse filtration, preventing large debris such as leaves, twigs and moss from entering your water tank, reducing maintenance requirements. Please note, you will need to install a dedicated overflow on your tank.
